Working of Solar Online UPS

The solar UPS is fully integrated and provides an end-to-end power supply for industries and other areas where there is a high demand for electricity. The pure sine wave output with low THD of the inverter ensures efficiency. The MPPT based Solar UPS allows high performance even when monitored remotely using MODBUS, Ethernet, and RS232. The Solar online UPS by EnerTech can function even in different environmental conditions, like an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level and in places where the temperature is as low as 10° celsius to as high as 55° celsius, because of the inbuilt isolation transformer.

The battery is designed in such a way that it allows sufficient backup during the night. There are three modes available- VFD mode, Grid Export Mode, and AC mode and the GRID export mode has the option to enable or disable. The solar online UPS has an output voltage of 415V AC +-10% in grid export mode, 0- 415V AC +-2% in VFD, and 415V in AC mode. The output frequency varies in VFD but in the AC mood and grid export the frequency is approximately 50hZ.

The EnerTech UPS is an IGBT-based Solar Online UPS and parallel configuration. The solar UPS has a selectable priority of SBG/SGB. You can easily adjust the settings using the front LCD like grid voltage, current, frequency, PV voltage, battery status, etc. When there is excess solar energy then the inverter works on solar power and the rest of the solar energy is used to charge the batteries. When there is an unavailability of solar energy, the entire load works on the grid via a grid charger. During the absence of grid supply, UPS shifts its load to use the buffer battery backup. Solar UPS has a pre-alarm set up for low battery and overload. The batteries have a discharge level of 75% and 25% as a buffer.
